Our Blackberry Peppercorn shrub is made with a balsamic vinegar base, fresh blackberries and whole black peppercorn. Its rich and earthy and pairs well with darker spirits. Try it as a marinade for salmon or steak. Scroll down for recipes.

"Blackberry Manhattan"
2 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
Barspoon 18.21 Blackberry Peppercorn Shrub
10 drops 18.21 Havana+Hide Bitters
Stir over ice for 30 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with an expressed orange peel or blackberries on a cocktail skewer

2 oz Dark Rum
1/2 oz 18.21 Blackberry Peppercorn Shrub
1/2 oz lime juice
Top off with Ginger Beer
“Blackberry Mint Smash”
2 oz Bourbon
.5 oz Blackberry Peppercorn Shrub
.5 oz lime juice
2-3 mint sprigs
Muddle mint and shrub in shaker. Add all ingredients with i.e. and shake well. Double strain into a rocks glass over ice and top with a splash of soda water. Garnish with mint sprigs
